Network for the Empowerment, the social and labor inclusion of Trafficked minors and young adults
Psychological support will be in SMALL SUPPORT GROUPS taking into account the individual needs of TPs and will also be INDIVIDUAL for some people. This support will PREVENT RE-TRAFFICKING, ENHANCING RECOGNITION in trafficked person of their own delicate situation, as well as their own RESILIENCE, assist them to change their self-perception FROM VICTIMS TO AGENTS OF CHANGE in their own life.
The support will be for a specific group of 80 trafficked persons particularly vulnerable previously indicated by social workers.
Psychological support will be also individual for some people and with particular attention to the origin country and culture, through the approach of ethnopsychology or with professionals’ expertise with psychological field in migration processes and human trafficking.
The presence of cultural mediators during workshops and during individual psychological interviews will support the professionals explaining the meaning of psychological support and engaging the TPs in the path.
Psychosocial workshops: to PREVENT RE -TRAFFICKING and help the client to build RESILIENCE in her/his healing trajectory; the group discussions shall help clients regain a sense of control, discuss common psychological issues that they might be experiencing such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, low self-esteem, self-harm, feelings of shame and guilt. In this activity each co-applicant will provide psychosocial small group support for 20 trafficked young adults each organization to support them in building resilience and REGAINING CONTROL OVER THEIR LIVES.
